Yulia Zhuravleva

A native Russian, Ms. Yulia Zhuravleva is a representative of the Russian “passionate” style of violin playing. Ms. Yulia’s musicianship has been internationally recognized by receiving awards from the All-Russian Chamber Ensemble Competition, Maria Yudina International Competition, International Competition in Jyvaskyla. She has performed at several summer festivals such as the Eastern Music Festival, the National Music Festival, Heifetz International Music Institute, Advanced Chamber Music Seminar, and the Modern Early Music Institute.  Ms. Yulia holds a concertmaster position at the Union Symphony Orchestra in North Carolina and a member of Roanoke Symphony Orchestra in Virginia. Since 2018 Yulia Zhuravleva has been appointed as a Director of Medwin String Quartet and Orchestra Assistant Director at Humanities and Arts Department of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Ms. Yulia regularly performs as a soloist, member of chamber ensembles such as Bach Consort of Worcester and Carpe Diem Chamber Orchestra across the country and abroad.
