Union Symphony Musicians Perform

Thank you to all who were able to participate in the Up Close & Personal Valentine’s Gala Sponsored by Stepp Lehnhardt. It was a wonderful event which raised over $15,000 for Union Symphony programming! PURCHASE TICKETS ($5.00) for the USYO Spring Concert Stories In Sound coming to The Batte at Wingate University on Sunday, April 1 at 4p. A pre-concert performance by USCHAP Allegro Strings is also planned for that day.

PURCHASE TICKETS ($18.00–$25.00) for the USO Concert American Musings coming to The Batte at Wingate University on Sunday, May 6 at 4p. This concert will feature piano soloist Elaine Kwon performing Sueesse, Conceto in Three Rhythms. The program will also include Porter, Aladdin, Overture and Rosas, Sobre Las Olas.

Remember that the doors will be closed at the start of the concert and persons will only be admitted before the concert and at intermission. Please turn off all cell phones and refrain from using flash photography. Dress nicely in anything from business casual to dressier styles. Most importantly be comfortable. Applaud at the beginning of the concert, each time conductor enters, and at the conclusion of each selection  (but not usually between the movements of selections: this can be followed in your program).
