Union Symphony Salutes Richard Rosenberg

The Union Symphony Board of Directors salutes Richard Rosenberg for his service as our artistic director for the past nine seasons. Under Richard Rosenberg’s tenure, the Union Symphony Orchestra celebrated a tenth anniversary season. The Union Symphony Board of Directors has established the principal clarinet chair to be named in Rosenberg’s honor.

We would like to thank Richard Rosenberg for his dedication, hard work, unique programming and humor that he contributed to make Union Symphony the best orchestra it can be—truly a gem in the community.

It took only about three seasons to grow in to a highly capable, cohesive and virtuoso ensemble that took great pride in its many accomplishments. We presented repertoire that never pandered, that complemented the offerings of the other regional orchestras, and augmented the entertainment options for Union County audiences. — Richard Rosenberg

The Union Symphony Board of Directors wishes Richard Rosenberg the very best in his continued music and life endeavors. May he go forth with knowledge of the joy and enrichment he has added to our lives.
