Join us this Saturday, October 2 in Historic Downtown Monroe at the newly renovated Dowd Center Theatre for our season-opening concert The Symphonic Voice, featuring Julliard-educated soprano Virginia “Gina” Gutierrez. Ms. Gutierrez will be performing a set of beautiful songs by Spanish composer, Manuel DeFalla.

In addition, you will be immersed in the ringing depths of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Variations on a theme by iconic English choral composer Thomas Tallis and risen by Mendelssohn’s “Choral” Symphony No. 5 as performed by the talented musicians of the Union Symphony Orchestra.
