CUMC Chorus

Community Chorus

All interested and motivated singers are invited to join the Community Chorus being formed to prepare for the Central United Methodist Church, Monroe, annual Christmas Concert. This year’s performance will be held on Sunday, December 4th at 5:00 PM in the church’s sanctuary. Rehearsals for the Chorus begin Tuesday, October 4th from 6:30-8:00 PM in Central’s Choir Room. This year’s extended choral/ orchestral piece will be “Go, Tell It!” – a delightful work with arrangements by Jack Schrader. Centered around the contemporary song “Mary, Did You Know?”, the music is accompanied by members of the Union Symphony Orchestra.
All music will be provided at the rehearsals and there is an option to purchase the vocal score.
