The Union Symphony goes bohemian as we pair up with the City of Monroe Annual Art Walk in a finale afternoon of music inspired by painters, dancers, and artists. The painterly symphonic colors of Delius, Elgar, and the French impressionists will submerge you in a wash of hues. We finish our concert with a true and unique Dowd Theater experience, featuring the silent film, One Week, starring Buster Keaton. Be thrown back into the golden era of film in Monroe’s expertly restored and iconic theater as the Union Symphony plays the live film score, written by silent film organist expert, Ben Model.
